At the Spirit of Adventure Trust we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and updating our response and procedures to address the pandemic in light of new information as it comes to hand. We take the safety of our students and crew seriously and are taking extra steps to ensure this continues.
We are continuing to run our voyages and there is currently no reason for you to alter your plans to attend your upcoming voyages, unless;
1. You or your child have travelled overseas and returned within the last 14 days, or you have someone in your home that is in self-isolation.
2. You and/or your child have been in contact with someone who has been in a COVID-19 hotspot and has flu-like symptoms.
3. You have been in close proximity with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19.
If you meet any of the above criteria, please contact us on 0800 472 454 to discuss.
Cancellations & Refund policy – COVID-19:
There is a lot of uncertainty about the implications of COVID-19. Currently, all of our voyages are scheduled to go ahead. Should you and/or your teenager’s voyage be cancelled by the Spirit of Adventure Trust (SoAT), due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will offer a transfer of your booking to a later date, valid for 12 months. A maximum of 2 further booking changes can be made in that time if your voyage is, once again, cancelled by SoAT due to COVID-19.
Otherwise, as per our standard refund policy, cancellations received greater than 6 weeks prior to voyage departure date, are fully refundable (less an administration fee of $200).
Should YOU cancel your booked voyage (whilst SoAT continues normal operations) less then 6 weeks prior to the voyage departure date our standard terms and conditions apply.
You can find standard terms and conditions below for different voyage types:
Please call the office on 0800 472 454 if you have any questions.
