Day 2

Log: SEPTEMBER 05

Four colleges left on Sunday night for 5 days of fierce competition, fun and Rachael's superb cooking.  Lots of rain and wind kept us in Tamaki Strait for two nights but sunshine and a perfect crisp breeze meant today we set sail and Coromandel here we come!

Day 3

Log: SEPTEMBER 07

After two days of wet weather we have had two days of great weather.  We had a great sail to the Coromandel yesterday.  No wind today so beach games on Rotoroa Island then an afternoon walk followed with a trip up the mast before dinner.

Day 4

Log: SEPTEMBER 08

Last day of competition dawns bright and sunny, who knew you could make the morning swim competitive!
In perfect conditions the raft race was fought, then a bit of fun flipping the rafts, swing time then time to pack up and head to sail stations, the competition continues.
