Log: SEPTEMBER 19
Voyage 849B, the adventure has begun, we had a bit of wind and rain as we sailed last night, steaming East seeking shelter in the lee of Waiheke Island off Hitapa Bay.
This morning the sea is calm, the water a refreshing temperature for our swim and now the day will unfold for us in actives and fun.
Log: SEPTEMBER 20
The Trainees had the ship under sail in Tamaki Strait yesterday afternoon, and now we are ashore on Rotoroa Island exploring, discovering and most of all having fun. Friendships are being made, we are learning to live and work together.
Log: SEPTEMBER 21
After a quiet night at anchor on the East side of Ponui Island , we steam across the Firth of Thames to check out Coromandel, followed by a sail across to Waiheke Island with deck games under sail and a tack and stow in the rain and now we lie at anchor, climbing the rig to challenge and enjoy ourselves. The adventure continues.
