The trainees are ashore at Wenderholm regional park, running around playing beach games and enjoying the company of all the new friends they have made during the first 2 days of the voyage. The competition has started strong and many new skills are being learnt such as sailing, knot tying and cleaning. This afternoon we will be sailing off to a new anchorage further north near Kawau Island.

Everyone is in high spirits today, the rain has passed, the bay we are in is calm and there is excitement for another day of fun and adventure. Yesterday was wet but we put on raincoats and visited Kawau Island. Fun and laughter paddling ashore in rafts, running around the lawns at the Mansion house, walking to School House Bay and having lunch ashore.
