Day 2

This voyage is off to a great start. We left the wharf this morning with some nice clear skies and sunshine. We learnt the lines and how to speak like a sailor prior to setting sail. With a nice breeze it would have been rude not to use that breeze and head north. We had an awesome swim on arrival, anchored off Tiri Tiri Matangi then relocated for the evening to Whangaparoa for the night. Everyone in great Spirits.
Day 4
Log: 19/2
Had a nice day yesterday- run around ashore on the beach then a nice sail to Waiheke in the afternoon. It's not very often we get a southerly to sail north then a north easterly to sail south, very spoilt. Troops just ashore for a special occasion at Rotoroa Island this morning. All is well.
Day 5
Log: 21/2
Troops are all in great spirits, we had another cool day today. Sailing, knots and several competitions to keep everyone on their toes. A nice swing off the yard this afternoon was a real hit too.
Bags are packed and final preparations are being sorted for tomorrow's arrival back to port.
