Log: 19/9

Our trophy voyage is off to an awesome start, leaving Auckland city behind us last evening and making our way just south of Whangaparāoa for the night. We started getting to know each other and getting the team building started. We woke up this morning for our first swim of the trip to get the day rolling. We’ve learnt lots, had an epic sail with a decent amount of breeze. All the teams are having a great time so far. Let the games begin!!

Another action packed couple of days soaking up the glorious sunshine. We’ve had a good run around on the beach at Mahurangi, cracked out the rope swing with a swim and had lots of opportunities for points in between it all. We moved to Bon Accord Bay as well. Today we’ve climbed part of the mast, had a knot tying competition and gone for a walk to explore Kawau Island and brought us home to the ship with a raft race. Definitely some jam packed days!! All happy on board.
