YOU CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE

Changing the lives of young people is something we are passionate about, but we can’t do it alone.  We rely on the kindness and generosity of individuals and organisations across New Zealand who make it possible for us to take young people out on the adventure of a lifetime.

If you want to make a difference, there are many ways you can get involved, all of which will help young people reach their full potential. Be part of something special!

FUNDRAISE FOR US

Whether you want to cook up a storm and organize a bake sale, hold a mufti / dress up day at school or your workplace or run a marathon – you can raise money to help the Trust in so many different ways.   Online or in person events, talk to us about your awesome idea and we will help you every step of the way.

LEAVE A LASTING GIFT

Leaving a kind gift in your will to the Spirit of Adventure is an incredibly special thing to do. Your generosity in this way has a long lasting impact on future generations.

Leaving a gift to the Spirit of Adventure is a fitting way to celebrate your life by helping transform the lives of our young people.

Writing your will is something that needs thought, consideration and conversations with your loved ones. We understand this and are here to guide you through this process. Please get in touch if you wish to discuss donating to Spirit in your will.

INVOLVE YOUR BUSINESS

There are so many awesome ways you can involve your company to do good and be part of the Spirit family.  From Payroll giving, employee fundraising to corporate support and gift in kind there is something to suit all, small business or large.

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

So much of what we do relies on the generosity of kind kiwis who give up their time to help. We are always looking for enthusiastic generous people who want to volunteer on board the ship or in the community.  You don’t have to be a sailor; you just need be willing to help and have some time you can give.

Volunteer

The Spirit does more than develop life skills, more than creating new friends, it saves lives. I know because it saved mine. Before the Spirit, I had no way of coping, and it was a struggle to keep going. I truly believe that I may not have been here today were it not for my voyage.
