Captain's Log: Day 1

Log: 6/7

We're off and away on Voyage 922! So many new friends to make. Up and over we go as we start to learn about our new home. The sun is shining and we're ready for 10 days of FUN!

Captain’s Log: Day 2

Log: 6/7

With wind in our sails we cruise across the Firth of Thames. Fun games on deck, lots of learning and a nice southerly breeze are powering us along.

Captain's Log: Day 3

Log: 7/7

Te Kouma Head welcomed us after a sail across the Firth. We paddled to shore, sugar cookies were made, fun had among all. A swim back to the ship refreshed us greatly, our delicious Kai topped up our energy, ready for evening games and some star gazing.

Captains Log: Day 4

Log: 8/7

More sail - Let's see how much we can set. Most of it, but not quite all. We're working on our leadership and having fun building sandcastles in the sand. A gentle rock lulled us all to sleep last night.

Captains Log: Day 6

Log: 10/7

We've arrived at Aotea. The team have enjoyed a little respite from sailing the big ship and jumped in our luggers to try their hand at sailing small boats and exploring Port Fitzroy. The challenge of the day was a climbing to the top of the foremast.

Captains Log: Day 7

Log: 11/7

Great day visiting Glenfern yesterday , the team enjoyed getting their hands dirty planting trees and the beautiful bush walk. The afternoon and evening onboard was filled with team building and a healthy dash of chaotic fun! Everyone is very happy.

We're all strapped down and will shortly sail away in a most Piratey manner to make the most of the good tail wind to Kawau Bay, so we can be snugged up for the afternoon and evening rain and wind.

Captains Log: Day 8

Log: 12/7

The team had a fabulous time crossing to Kawau Bay yesterday, they loved the rock and roll. We anchor up and stowing away the sails, then we went below decks for some lunch in the warm and dry. It was the perfect afternoon for a wee nap/quiet time, which was a much deserved end to the day.
