Log: 10/10

We departed from the city this morning and sailed and motored to Musick point where we anchored for lunch. Some sail setting, some information about ship life and a lovely swim, followed by more sailing to Man of War Bay at Waiheke for the night. The girls are all enjoying the voyage and having fun as well a learning heaps. Coromandel beckons for a tomorrow. Plenty of sun and no rain!

A wonderful day. After a swim and colours, all ashore at Rotorua Island early for games, fun and activities. After lunch, a great sail across to Te Kouma Harbour at Coromandel with the watches really working the sails so well. Ashore again now for dinner at the sandy beach by the campfire. The trainees will sleep well tonight.

Absolutely one of the best days anyone can remember. We sailed the luggers all round Te Kouma Harbour, the trainees and teachers completed the mast climb right to the top with all the girls buzzing with delight. An all girls voyage, which has worked out really well. At lunch every one reveled in the raft rollovers time and again and again. Lovely sunny day with everyone excited.
