Day 4: We had a great day sailing this morning. We are now anchored at Motuihe Island with the trainees loving the water slide for their final swim.

Day 3: After a lovely sail yesterday, the trainees walked from Hook Bay up to Stoney Batter on Waiheke this morning. They later climbed to the masthead and we are now anchored at Ponui Island tonight. It's a very still evening and we all will be listening for the kiwis ashore calling tonight.

Day 2: Yesterday we enjoyed the nice weather and we had just enough wind to sail/motorsail to the Eastern end of Waiheke and anchored for a quiet night in Man of War Bay followed by a delicious roast beef dinner.

Day 1: There was some excitement and some nerves as everyone boarded yesterday. We got unpacked and helped unload all of the food for our voyage. After learning about safety of the ship, we headed out for our anchorage. Arriving at Station Bay, we dropped anchor in time for dinner. Dessert was followed by a game of play-dough pictionary then it was bedtime for everyone apart from those keeping us safe on night watch.
