At Kawau Island, this morning's swim and rope swing to kicked things off, then the remaining mast climb completed this morning for those who didn’t quite make it up yesterday. We continued on with a day of sailing with trainees hanging out on the bowsprit, soaking up the waves in each other's company.

With the ship heading back in to be alongside this evening, to dock before the forecasted high winds, there will be a hive of activities as they prepare for dinner and evening activities before disembarking tomorrow morning.

Yesterday we had a lovely sail from Mahurangi to Bon Accord at Kawau Island, making the entire trip under sail alone. We played lots of games ashore on the grass at Mansion House Bay in the afternoon and the trainees are about to climb to the top of the mast this morning.

We had a wonderful sunset last night anchored at Station Bay, Motu Tapu Island. The trainees paddled the rafts ashore and had a cave swim and rock jump at the Noises Islands this morning before a sail to Mahurangi Harbour where we will spend the night.
