⚓️ V950C is underway, with 39 excited teenagers (trainees) joining the ship and ready for an adventure!

After throwing off the mooring lines, we headed out of the harbour, through the Tāmaki Strait and towards the eastern end of Waiheke Island.

The ship was buzzing with chatter, excitement and eager anticipation as the trainees began settling into life onboard. From taking the helm for the first time and getting to know the ship's layout and safety procedures, to asking lots of great questions, sharing their first dinner together and settling in for their first night sleeping alongside their new shipmates in the bunkroom.

And that was just joining day! Imagine what the next four days have in store...
